Our Master Soloists play the bouzouki, the oud, the violin, the clarinet, and the recorder. All of them are among the best instrumentalists in Greek folk music, and were free to play exactly the way they intended to. A unique panorama of all the major solo instruments in Greek folk music.

Yiorgos Maggas is the most important contemporary Greek gypsy clarinetist. Our goal was to produce this album according to jazz standards, with a typical band of the popular (laiko) style (mail and female singers, second bouzouki, electric and acoustic guitar, el. base, accordion, baglamas, tzouras and percussion).
